In addition to work being done by staff, major construction is commencing on the new PWSD #3 Water Plant with ground breaking on Thursday, April 14. Anyone needing to stop by the water office should be aware of heavy equipment and dump trucks operating in the area over the next few weeks, so please show extreme caution. In fact the Water Dept. will probably place a mail and payment drop-box at the plant entrance at Sunfish and Waterworks so folks don’t have to go near the work area. Pictures show the work equipment belonging to Dave Ross Construction, Raytown Missouri, who will be building the new plant. The big water pipes pictured are the first of many shipments of material to be received.
