CALL TO ORDER
Kyle Parkhurst, President (2026), called the meeting to order at 4:00pm which was held at the water plant. Members in attendance were Harlan Horst (2026), Mark Closterman (2024), Gary Buck (2024), and Mike Lammers (2025). Also in attendance were Gary King, Water Superintendent, Travis Toney, Water Operator, and Diane Hulett, Clerk.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussion was held on solutions to improve THM water sample results in the future. Two options noted were adding the GAC units back to the system, or introducing aeration equipment. Information is to be gathered to see what the approximate cost would be for each.
Information was provided on GPRS, a company that rents ground penetrating radar equipment used to locate PVC water lines. Gary will call to get more information.
A motion was made by Harlan Horst and seconded by Gary Buck to advertise on the MRWA website for a water superintendent with at least a Class B and DSII certification. All members were in favor; motion approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30pm.
