DISCUSSION
Superintendent Report:
Zack informed the board that the fire hydrants were recently flushed as part of DNR’s requirement to routinely work valves in the distribution system. He also reported that the PFOS/PFAS test results were negative which now puts the district on a reduced testing schedule. Zack brought to the board’s attention that there is no ladder guard on the south water tower which could result in a violation during the district’s next inspection. He noted that the cost would be around $800. Harlan Horst made a motion to add a ladder guard to the south tower followed by a second from Mike Lammers. All voted to approve; motion carried.
Zack also reported that one meter installation and 30 locates were completed in the past month.

Kyle Parkhurst, President, announced the next meeting would be September 15, 2026, at the water plant. The meeting was adjourned at 5:45pm.

Respectfully Submitted,
Mark Closterman
